This is one of top best tools I have ever found while building something new; Disciplined Entrepreneurship by Bil Aulet. Many famous books such as Business Model Generation (by A. Osterwalder and Y. Pigneur) are far behind when it comes to building a startup.
To be honest, I am still busy with accomplishing with its initial steps but based on all my experience and thoughts, the steps described seem to be a right guide to well plan a startup. To put a business model canvas (BMC) on the wall might be easy, but how exactly find the right pieces of information to write on stickers and put them on the canvas. BMC does not provide enough hints how to plan ahead your startup but is a great tool to sum up all the information at some level and make sure that the whole thing will work out.
While keeping in mind that our situation and business environment may differ and may dictate their own specific steps, I would like to say this “24 Steps to Successful Startup” provide a highly valuable guideline to our startup.
Here’s a quick but comprehensive summary to this book.
And I kindly thank Bill Aulet.
